I have been deeply honored to provide doula services to many laboring mothers throughout the years. I thank these amazing birth Moms who have allowed me to share their kind words with you.
|Patricia, I can’t thank you enough for what you gave me… support, strength, guidance… intangible things that I will always remember and keep w/me for the rest of my life, and pass onto my children (and maybe grandchildren) thru stories.

|Dear Patricia, Thank-you so much from the bottom of my heart for your kind and loving support during my birth process. I really appreciated your gentle and nurturing nature and I am grateful that you were part of bringing Sid into our lives.

|Patricia, You are the most amazing childbirth expert in the world and were incredible help to me and my husband in labor. You always knew exactly what to say and when to say it. Although my husband is extremely supportive and loving, he is not a professional doula with years and years of experience and you knew when to step in and when to let my husband lead. At one point during labor, you actually encouraged me to go nap which I didn’t think I would be able to do, but you assured me it would work and it did! At another point, when I was at my wit’s end, you said that it would not get much harder than this, and it never did! I asked you later how you knew and you said you’ve seen so many labors that you just know when you are at the peak of how hard it is going to be. Also, your coaching and visualization exercises were so helpful and you knew exactly when to go to the hospital. You were able to time my arrival so that I was fully dilated and ready to push when I got there which was really great. Then, you worked as a team with Bethany, my midwife, welcoming our baby into the world peacefully and happily. I feel so fortunate that you were part of the birth of my daughter and wish I was going to have another baby just to work with you again (sadly though there are no more babies in the plans).

|Patricia, Where can I begin? Your support through both of my births was indispensable. You helped me with my research into birth practices, then practitioners, you listened to me and helped me find the strength and wisdom within myself. You told me for my second birth that I could do it by myself, and I had to laugh, because I already knew that I could, but that I would never want to without you there. Thank you for being by my side as I travelled through the amazing rite of passage that is birth. I love you, and I loved traveling with you. I hope we always stay close.Julie, November 2008 and June 2010
|Dearest Patricia, I am grateful to have had a doula like yourself, not that there is anyone quite like you. Your support and reassurance throughout Ava’s birth was truly priceless to us. You are an amazingly caring individual and this shines in your doula skills. We treasure the video you created of the moment our sweet angel entered this world. Thank you! With sincere love and appreciation,

|Dear Patricia, Thank you so much for all of your support and encouragement as our birth doula. You were such a calming presence through a hectic several hours. Both on the phone and in person…we couldn’t have managed without you! Logan’s birth was an adventure and memorable experience for us. And we are so grateful that you were there to share it with us. We look forward to staying in touch. Thank you again with all our hearts.

| Patricia, You translated our birth plan into a manageable labor and beautiful delivery. You fluidly adjusted to my changing needs during labor, offering pain management options from your “birth bag” and emotional support from your heart. You were an efficient advocate for us at our hospital birth, giving me and my husband the opportunity to focus our energy on the little miracle that was about to happen. I am so proud of what I did that day, and I have you to thank for it.Liz Hoshiko, June 2009, April 2012
